Rear seat latch covers
Rear seat latch covers
Hi all. Check out the rear seat latch covers I made for my Coupe in the photo section. They were a lot of work. I hand made a mold for the right and left covers from wood and clay, using my old broken ones as a pattern. Then using an ABS plastic sheet I vacuum formed the basic shape. Using the mold to hold the parts I then CNC machined the cut-outs and trimmed the outside by hand. They fit great and they look like the originals. Gives the rear area a factory finished look.

Hi Eric, glad you like them. I have molded a few set's and I will be finishing them this week. Not sure how I should sell them, this website or Ebay? Price will depend on how many I make.
It's nice that we are getting together and making parts for our Honda's! Do we have a list of available parts?

Re: Rear seat latch covers
I will be making a few more Coupe latch cover set's to sell. Anyone interested please go to my website and send me an email and I will try to come up with a price. The more I make
the cheaper they will be.
Thanks for the interest.

Eric, anyone, Any chance you'll mold some dome light lenses any time soon? Anybody have a spare lens to sell? For a Z600 Coupe. Thanks!

Not currently. Bill C has a mold we just need to get him to start making them again. Last I heard he was waiting on a company to get back to him.
Unless bill has issues then maybe I would look into it.

Re: Rear seat latch covers
Lyle;
The covers look great. There is a picture of some coupe dome light covers on the group site. I made them out of a high strength plastic hard enough to allow polishing but thin enough to allow light through them. They should be the last one you will ever need.
