I think this is part 5 of the motorcycle engine into a Honda N600. This video shows a good underside view. Prepping the car for real world. Brakes and fuel systems need to be restored. The gas tank was full, yes FULL of 30 year old gasoline. There was 2 inch rust accumulation at the bottom of the fuel tank. Yuck! I will be cleaning and sealing the fuel tank this week.

Hi Mark;
What are you using to seal your fuel tank? How are you cleaning out the gunk?

Honda N 600 with Motorcycle engine
Bill,
I pressure washed the inside, then used the three part system from Northern.
Degreaser, Etch, Sealer.
Works great!

Re: Honda N 600 with tank repair
Mark;
That should work if it stands up to the Alcohol fuels we have to run these cars on today. Some of the products out there will not withstand the 10% alcohol in the fuels sold at the pump.
I am not familiar with the brand you are using, but they should say so in their literature.
I cleaned an old Caddy tank some years back using a white creamy product and it held well until I put some of the gasahol in it and it turned milky again, gumming up the works. Another time I had a tank with pockets of dust rust in it and until I tied a length of chain on to a rope and put it into the tank to beat the pockets open these pockets would burst while the car sat for a couple of months and that stuff clogs everything.
