The paint on the engine still looks great. I do wish I had used the aerosol rather than the pint can and a sponge brush; I believe I was a bit heavy-handed in spots... It is holding up just fine.

I used this stuff on my engine, it has a more natural sheen to it and seems to be holding up well.

I also cured the parts after painting in a large metal trash can over a propane burner...

Hi Dave;
I tried some of the 500 degree paint and it pealed off after a bit. Hirsch products, www.hirschauto.com seems to stand up.
Although I have had the paint on the exhaust header burn all of it off after a few years and that's the 1800 degree stuff. So, it really comes down to how hot things really get.
But the High Temp 1800 degree aluminum from Hirsch has been on my engine for 5 years and still looks like new.
