Hi Colin;
Go to the cam chain change out in the Files section of the group page.
It gives the whole job soup to nuts.
Then I have a high performance cam chain I use and had to purchase a bunch
of them to get a good price. Still not real good but better than before.
Give me a call XXX-XXX-XXXX.
Bill
intermittant loss of power
Ken, intermittant loss of chain
Ken, what does your oil pressure normaly run at, I would like to
check the pressure of my engine too. Thanks,
Colin
check the pressure of my engine too. Thanks,
Colin

Re: Ken, intermittant loss of chain
Colin
It has been a while but it was 30 PSI or so. The trick is finding the place to put the tap. I added a tap right on the pump but I think it came loose and that is the reason for the slowly progressive oil loss. I thought it was a sensor problem until I jumped the chain. I am about to take apart the engine and check. As far as I can tell this is the ONLY place you can get full pressure without MAJOR engine modifications.
