Hi everyone.
I'm about to repaint my car and wondered about something. When you open
the doors, there is a sill protector plate that has the word "Honda" on
it. This is screwed into the frame at the bottom of the door.
Is this originally a chrome color or was it painted the color of the
exterior? I can't tell since my car has been painted once before already
by a prior owner.
Thanks for your input in advance. You can email me directly at

They are supposed to be bare metal.

Re: Door sill protector color
Hi Doug;
It was originally a anodized silver color. Even the letters were not
painted. It was also an option for the Coupe.
