First buy the new seal from bill. Then fit it to the glass and add
about 1/2 inch. We glued ares together with Duro gell super glue. And
the test sample wasnt even flat or clean and we cant pull it apart.
Then we used the rope with the whole dash in place. Lots of soapy
water sprayed on the car and I soaked the rope in the same water.
With a helper on the outside we started at the bottom and pulled the
rope until we were up the side half way. Then did the other side half
way up. Then we went across the top. After that we grabed the glass
from both sides and moved it around to settle it in. Then we
installed the locking strip with a funny bent L shaped tool for
working with glass. About 20 min. and no leaks yet and I live in
Oregon where it rains somtimes.
