FW: [2cylinderhondas] "Crusty"

Yes, with enough money anything can be brought back to like new, but why, when there are so many other better suited Z or N 600 choices.   Unless this has some significant historical value it can be used to support other restorations.

I can understand your sentiments Bill but they are so rare now in the Uk we use this site as a guide https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2 ... honda+z600   now check how many N600's there are and you will understand why, you are awash with them in the States that's where our donor parts come from because there are no more donor cars here! plus i like a challenge don't you?

Then by all means, folks in your area should go after the best of the lot.   Love the stats.  Seems like the dismantlers have been busy in your neck of the forest or is it woods?
I too love a challenge; I even have one that I have been working on since 1995.  However there comes a time when the rust worm has consumed more than can be replaced.  For every spot of rust on the outside, there are three inches of rust on the back side.   Looking at all the spots on this Z there is not much left to work with.   But you are right, it is a challenge….

Wow I love that www.howmanyleft.co.uk  resource!  I wish we had something like that here in the USA!  But then we would need to get 50 state “Department of Motor Vehicles” bureaucracies to communicate with each other – unlikely at best!  Even getting each one to post its own data in a public spot for someone else to aggregate would be a miracle.
