Sorry my time in approving new members & etc has been super slow. Since Yahoo downgraded the Yahoo Groups experience, I haven't had time to figure out all the quirks. I don't normally use Mozilla Firefox and found Yahoo won't respond to my use of IE.
I also deleted to Mod-Micros Group and one other group which had zero activity. Don't worry, not deleting this group, has been active since 2002. Can only hope Yahoo puts Groups back the way it was or fixes what it is. So many complaints to Yahoo but they want it to look like FB.

Re: Extra Slow
I've actually had pretty good luck lately. Up till a few weeks ago I couldn't even view pictures through the group on safari. Now it's been fine.
I think it's getting better. I still hate the layout and how you have to click on conversations before u can search.

Re: Extra Slow
I'm not sure if this would help yall, but if your email provider allows you to set up folders for incoming mail, it's very convenient to have everything automatically sort into email folders. With this, you don't even have to use Yahoo's site at all. I can't remember the last time I went to the actual groups page.
I've set it up in Gmail so all my car Yahoo Group messages go into their own separate folders. It keeps it very organized and lets me know how many new messages there are. All you have to do with Yahoo Groups is tell it to send you individual emails for each message. It sounds like it would flood your email with a ton of messages, but out of the 9 Groups I follow, I have a total of 27 new messages from over the weekend (haven't checked since Friday afternoon). It's not that many really.
Anyway, I won't go on too much of a tangent with this, but I highly recommend it to anyone that is fed up with the Yahoo Groups.

Re: Extra Slow
I do this, too, but with Apple Mail on my laptop. Real slick, very organized, and, as Conner said, not all that many emails. I even answer/post to the group from the Apple Mail client. I head over the the groups site to look at photos or to poke around researching stuff.

Re: Extra Slow
Email is not the problem I have. I get a daily digest with all that days emails in it.
As the Group Owner I have to approve all the members, I have to edit features and
I have to do it all from the Yahoo site. The approve members option is not visible unless I
follow a link from an email.

Re: Extra Slow
Miles;
I get all my Yahoo account updates, new to the group approvals and digests through my MS Outlook. Other than a few new learning curbs with the new Yahoo Groups my settings work great.
