N600 for sale

Well, I guess I'm a moron because I can't get anyone to buy my car ! I've had it on this site, Craigslist, Microcars - no luck. Is it stupid of me to think I can get at least $2500 for a car that; Drives 65 mph easily,starts, charges, operates properly, had 4 new tires 4 years ago, completely rebuilt brake system, new brake hoses, exhaust repair, clutch, steering rack rebushed, working ignition and door keys, speedo works, and more. Yes, he has a crappy paint job and needs the body redone, but he is a REALLY solid car.I have a bad left leg that keeps me from using a clutch very easily, that's why the sale. I'll let him sit and rot before I sell for much less. Go ahead, buy a non runner with no brakes, bad tires and the usual 600 problems. You'll have WAY more than $2500.00 in it. Skip's in Clermout, Florida.  I'm sure you can look the city's location up on your own.  Now that you know where he lives, if you are still interested, the best way to contact him is by phone or email him direct.  He provided both of those in his email.  He's an excellent mechanic so I would expect his 600 to be very good mechanically.

Yeah, Skip's N600 looks great. �It seems like a very solid car. �I haven't looked at it in person, but from the pictures and the description it seems to be good and reasonably priced.

Maybe the price is high, but $2,300 isn't much money. "Runs well" is a huge
plus though maybe not as big as "no rust".
If you're in the neighborhood and you're in the market, buy it, imo.

My friend asked me to post this info for her. You will have to email her to find out more I have never seen her car so I can't tell you anything about it but I think it is in good shape. The car is in Washington state.
The good:
Newly rebuilt engine (by previous owner)
New slave cylinders and pads on drum brakes
New pads and fittings for disc brakes
New flexible brake lines
New weatherstripping for doors and 1/4 panel windows
New rectifier
New voltage regulator
New air filter and windshield wipers
It has a serviceable heater blower motor, fuel pump and a nice clean gas tank
The bad:
A previous owner circumvented a broken ignition switch in strange way.
There is a push button for the starter, and a toggle switch for everything else.
Needs a new cam cover as there is a small crack in the present one
For safety's sake, the steel brake lines should be replaced
Missing the vacuum booster and parking brake cable
Needs door locks
The rear bumper needs to be re-attached
Needs a battery
There is a tiny chip, and two 1 1/2" cracks in the windshield on the passenger's side
The front seats are mostly duct tape, but the rear bench seat is in pretty good shape
I don't know anything about the clutch, as I haven't gotten that far. Same goes for the windshield wiper motors and horn.
