Cam Housing Gaskets!!!

Post by eric.geiger »

Just wanted to let everyone know the first batch of rubber cam housing gaskets for both coupes and sedans is complete. i am doing final testing on them now and will have a full production run ready in about 4-5 weeks. They are made from high quality Viton and are so close to the original NOS ones i have that i have to keep them away from each other so i don't mix them up.
More info to come!!!

The latest sample was just delivered yesterday need to do a test fit again and hopefully will have them in 2-3 weeks.
Main issue is I'm not selling much of the coupe ones currently which is tying up money.  I can't keep spending  2000$ to produce a batch of parts only to sell 500$ worth.
I'm well aware that there are few cars left on the road and I don't wanna charge high prices to make them affordable but I can't be sitting on thousands of dollars in inventory. It's a very fine line

Hi Eric -- speaking for myself, I'd be interested in picking up a handful of coupe gaskets from you. (I'd be willing to plunk down $150-200 for a batch of them.) I can't speak for the other coupe owners, but I wouldn't be surprised if many of them would want to do the same, given that the gaskets are otherwise "unobtainium".
Keep us posted!

Sounds great.   Mike oconnor has a set of them now and as soon as he says he likes them ill place the production run.   I'm hoping to have 100 of each made.
I appreciate your feedback on this.  I think you'll be really happy with them.  Here are some photos.

No need to do advance payments.  I've got the money set aside for the production run.  I appreciate the offer though.
Thank you. Lead time is 3-4 weeks from when I give the go ahead to start production. Hoping to see them mid June.
