Hi Eric;
    Great, it seems no one wants to part with them because I was also looking for one.   And, if you had not found it another can be made from 1 inch angle iron.  Cut a couple of inches longer than the battery in your Honda 600 and place the ends (an inch or so) in a vice to flaten them so holes can be drilled for the bolts.  There may also be some grinding to keep the edgs smooth.  They were originally plated with gold cad or zinc or you can paint them to look like they are plated.

I need one also.
I could make a few if someone has a good one to copy.
Just a thought.

Lyle. I would be willing to lend you mine after next week of you need one.  It's freshly sandblasted and painted.
Let me know.

Hi Eric, thanks for the offer.
Both of my coupes had the tie down rusted away, from the battery acid.
Also the J-hooks are missing.
If I can't find a good used one, I will make one. If I set up to make one, I could make a few extra's for other coupe owners.
I have a complete shop so it would be a pretty simple part to make. Maybe even have them plated.

Go to your local Honda dealer and see if they can order you one. I
bought a brand new tie down for my n600 about a year ago. It isn't an exact copy, but it fits well and does the job while looking fresh!!

Good idea. I will take my coupe over to the Honda dealer. I am sure they would love to see the car that started it all.
Thanks

The replacement hold downs are from civic. They have 2 tabs on them for the washer bag to hang on.
