3rd and 4th gear
3rd and 4th gear
Just got a coupe up and running enough to try the gears, (it has been idle for years, and has other rust issues). I used the hand brake to stop as I ran around an empty pasture. I understand why it will pop out of reverse, but I have no 3rd or 4th gear...the shifter moves easily in the positions where they are suppose to be, but no gear there...does this mean shelled trannie or what. The engine runs great. I have no clue as to what someone may have done to this car previously. Any suggestions? Thanks.
