Re: Fw: 1972 Honda 600 Sedan
I got the same email and a lot of photos, several letters back and forth. I suggested he put it on eBay for the best audience, free to list with great exposure. The car is actually a 71, The body has been repainted original pale yellow and reupholstered in a custom pattern. It looks like it would be a nice driver. I can forward his photos to anyone interested - just email me direct or I may catch it on the daily digest postings - z600miles@...

> My name is Tracy Armstrong, and I live in Panguitch (near Bryce Canyon N.P. in Southern Utah) and I have a 1972 Honda 600 Sedan, in excellent condition, that I am in need of selling. I am a victim of a random shooting in 2007, by a crazed gunman, unknown to me or my family. The shooting left me paralyzed from my armpits down, and never able to drive again. My little car is the last item of value I own, and the time has come to sell it, because Social Security Disability, doesn't cut it. Because it is in extremely nice condition, I am looking for a person, in my age group or older, who would like to purchase a gem, that they remember driving as a kid, or a dealership, that might enjoy having one to display to the general public.
> So many of these great little cars, have been changed, painted weird, adapted to a different look, that it is getting to be very rare to find a genuine looking (stock?) car, with original color, and needing only fine details redone, so it could be perfect. I have stored it for many years, and cannot afford to keep it; we need the necessities of life.
> I am writing to you, hoping you have run into someone, who is looking for a nice antique car. We had more fun in it than any of my friends' big muscle cars that guzzled gas! We had two of them when I grew up, and I looked for years, in the early 1990s, to find one for me to relive my teens, and for my kids to drive around our small town in. But finding it difficult to find parts, I started getting paranoid about not being able to fix it if things broke down, so I put it into storage.
> I had it on Auto Trader for $12,000 (dealer recommendation) and received 5 calls, but no one with the cash to buy it. It is very much likely, that I have it too high, but you can't go up, you can go down. They are very expensive and I will try again. It might sound weird, but I don't want to sell it to someone who will drive it until it breaks down, and then parks it, to rot away.
> I would appreciate it if you could let people know about me, that have interest in purchasing one in excellent condition, for being 40 years old, almost.
