Hello folks,
What is the best way to take care of a rusty gas tank. I have found several chemical kits that have several stages to clean and then seal the tank. Any suggestions from all the experience out there would be appreciated, thanks. John
I am very excited about my new project 600 cars, I took an opportunity and purchased 4 from a collector, 3 of which have been a garage for 15 to 20 years. I have attached a picture of my pride and joy, a 1971 Z600 in Pop Orange. She has the original window sticker and lots of original items, unfortunately she has not run for many years, but the engine compression looks good and I am hopeful of here resurrection. The other 3 cars are all N600's. Two have complete drive trains and one is missing it's head. One has it's top chopped due to a smashed roof - it needs a lot of work.
Sorry if my pictures take up too much space, I just want to share my treasures with folks that appreciate them. I know I will need some help in the near future. Thanks, John

Re: rusty gas tank
Sure did. I got the 71 Pop Orange coupe to run today, sounds very good for a car that has not ran for probably 20 years, just cleaned out the fuel system and used a plastic gas can for a temporary tank.
