Bumper mounting brackets

Has anyone ever had a bumper fall off on them?? My rear bumper bracket rotted on me and my bumper was barely hanging on this last weekend when I was driving. I did not know till I got home and seen it. Pictures of it in the "new photo" link on the front page.
