No booster / Proportioning valve

Post by Tom Rapini »

Just want to toss in my experience in removing the brake booster and
installing a proportional valve.
I'm surprised it was suggested that you could remove the booster because
doing so seriously impacts the car's stopping ability. I lived with this
for years (my N600 was converted to electric power, hence no vacuum, hence
no booster) until I learned about putting a proportioning valve in. Made a
big difference in redirecting more force to the front brakes, though I doubt
that it does as well as having the booster.
