under my seats i have a rubber mat that acts as a spring, the drivers
side is shot and i need a replacement, not sure if these things were
stock or a shop added them and took the springs out. On them they say
Elosto Phrom, i couldnt find this anywhere on the web. Any other
solutions to fix the seat springs?
thanks!
Seat springs? rubber mat?
Re: Seat springs? rubber mat?
Yep, that's OEM Honda. I used to use lawn chair webbing to replace the stuff. Seamed to hold up fairly well.

Re: Seat springs? rubber mat?
I solved a similar problem by cutting up an old couch coushin and stuffing the 6" thick foam pad under the seat. It adds support without stiffening the the ride like the folding chair webbing.

Re: Seat springs? rubber mat?
I found 1/4 inch thick rubber sheet from Graingers and all I had to do was punch some holes in it and use the old one as a pattern...works great...hopefully it will last at least 30yrs...
