You can find the shop manuals at Steve's site (click here ).
The coupe manual has a detailed description starting on page 110.
The sedan manual has a little more detail (I didn't see it on Steve's site but it might be there).
Did you check the newsgroups Yahoo site for info?
And Miles (of 600miles.com) has sold parts in the past to rebuild the m/c.
good luck,
Dale

I just finished fixing my master cylinder - just followed the instructions from Steve's site and the service manual. The only thing I needed to replace were the rubber cups which I bought from Miles

Did I forget to send the rebuild sheets? Check the papers that were in with the kit....

Your car came with a 13/16" master cylinder, but since the car is 37 years old, anyone could have swapped it several times. If you have a 3/4" master there's 2 options as seal sets I can supply and if you are saying that either will work and are talking about the 3/4th, it's not correct. If it's the 3/4 x 5 or the 3/4 x 7 the pistons are different lengths and mixing the 2 - one of each (and I've seen it) really won't work. I even got a master to rebuild where someone lathe turned down a piston to make a different seal fit.
If you just need the step by step info sheets I offer and don't want a kit, I can mail those out for a couple bucks.
I have the kits listed now on eBay so you can see the differences.

The outside of your master cylinder will have the size cast into the body.  It will be 13/16 or 3/4 inches.
good luck,
