I made a successful repair to Javier's window regulator on his coupe.
One of the plastic squares was missing, so the window kept falling down
inside the door. I used a section of 1/4" thick x 1" wide aluminum x 1"
aprox. long. I had to shave the height down a bit to get it in the
track, but it fits and works swell.
I drilled out the original rivet then drilled and tapped the aluminum
to 1/4-20, I cut a recess in one side so I could pein the bolt end over
to trap it. I used a 1/4" hex bolt and 2 6mm washers to attain correct
spacing. Sorry, no pics, it's back in the door.

Coupe Window Regulators
Re: Coupe Window Regulators
Hi Miles;
I have used successfully several times a nylon wheel for a typical patio
door (bottom) roller. The package can be found in most Home Depot stores
and comes with the bolt to replace the pin. Cut the top and bottom of the
roller (so they are flat) and replace it. The nylon works with or without
grease.

Re: Coupe Window Regulators
Yes, I knew a patio roller fit, but not which one, can you supply the
part number? For me, it was easier to just make one from scratch.
