Wheel Bearings

Post by Miles »

I forgot to mention the loud rumble I had from the back of the car
that I thought was the muffler vibrating against the gas tank was
actually 4 bad wheel bearings. I forgot the previous owner had
PosiTraction mags on her car. I sold the mags as soon as I got the car
and put on steel steel stock wheels.
I recall writing an article in Novelty News about mags & wheel
bearings, but that was 13 years ago. When I removed the bearings they
rattled like Davy Jones playing the maraccas. New bearings and smooth
and silent running.

Are new bearings pretty easy to source?
