I finally got serious about getting my z600 running good today. Here
is some of the stuff I need: a new oil drain plug. I had a bad leak
and thought it was something serious but the drain plug has been
vise-gripped a few too many times. Not sure of the mating surface.
Is there a good way to reflatten the area around the hole? Also need
front bumper mounting screws, bolts whatever. Can't locate the
originals. Also a question, attached to the passenger seat near the
handle to slide the seat back there is a holder of some sort. Looks
like a small cylinder would go there. What is that? Another
question-are there two keys for the car, one for ignition and one for
doors? My cars prior owner removed the original ignition and
installed one in the dash because he couldn't find the key. I found
it hidden under some carpet. Works the original ignition cylinder but
not the locks. Thanks for any help,

Bill, That holder is for the tool kit. Also, the ignition and door / trunk locks require two different keys. Have fun. Tad

Subaru uses the same drain plug. The little 6mm chrome bolts for the
front bumpers can be substituted with 1/4" carriage bolts. If you
look around a bit you can get them without printing in the heads.
The door key is always different than the ignition key. All USA sold
cars which have the locking steering column use a larger key.
Look in Database then under Interchanges for more ideas.
