What size battery? Also looking for coupe muffler

Went looking for a group 45 battery today, and they dont seem to make
them anymore. Will a group 51 battery fit without any problems? I got
my charging system working today finally, the person that owned my 600
before had replaced the brushes but didnt assemble them rightm they
didnt insulate the wht/red wire to the post so it was grounding out!
What fun that was to find. ALso im looking for a used coupe muffler
for my 72 coupe if anyone has one for sale.

I don't know how badly you want a used muffler - I have a REALLY beat up one complete with holes - but maybe it is better than absolutely nothing.  In any event you are welcome to it for shipping cost.

Did you try a local muffler shop ? one local shop did my 600 sedan which  was custom made with a chrome tail pipe and it works just fine!

Yes a group 51 battery will fit, but get one with the posts toward the
passenger side of the car and the neg post to the front. They make them
group 51R and 51L.
