How much intrest is there in a real fourm for n600, z600, s600, ect. My I would be glad to
host a phpp style fourm on my website n600.net. Ive just noticed that this yahoo posting
system is not that great. A phpp fourm would be a whole lot easyer to use.

domain if peope dont mind that the link isnt to a 600 site.

I enjoy this forum pretty well right now. I have gotten a lot of help and usefull info from everyone here. I think this is a "Real" forum and thank everyone involved for all of their hard work. To imply that it isn't shows disrespect for those that put in a lot of effort for others benefit. Perhaps that isn't quite what you meant? Happy Trails!

I read no disrespect in the original email, just a suggestion for another format to hold a forum discussion. A format by the way, that I personally am not familiar with.

To: Andrew P Thornton;
If you haven't noticed there are only Honda 600 owners or people wanting to
be Honda 600 owners, on any of the Yahoo group pages. And, keeping it that
way makes this a better way to pass and receive knowledge. Often, many
issues are taken outside of these groups to discuss with people in the
group, issues they don't want to bring up here. If you don't want to bring
it up here that's fine, but to say the 2cylinderhondas or anzhonda600owners
groups are not a "real forum" is your problem, and not an issue for the rest
of us.
I did go to your www.n600.net, I found it rather commercial, not much for
the hobbyist, the "build a N600" tab, opened every Honda car but the N600.
Posts were rather short, and only had a e-mail page. The Movie section had
Mazda's, but no N600's. I tried several times to open the pictures tab, but
only three of the pictures opened. And, only one of several links listed
opened, which was a dealer site.
Yahoo has it's short-comings but everything works. It also allows other
sites/owners to give there information freely, such as yourself. But to say
this group is not what you think it should be is your observation, and you
have made another site that has some issues with it too. If you would like
to view some of the other sites of Honda 600 Owners, just ask them. Steven
Michelsen [stevenm@...] has a site that supports all of us, while
Matt Timion [matt@...] has a site that takes you step by step
through his restoration. And, we should have a page that lists all the
Honda 600 sites so everyone can learn and support other Honda 600 restorers
and their restorations.
The Honda 600 Sedan you have posted on your page will be a very aggressive
restoration. With out seeing the rest of the parts I can only assume that
they too are as rusty as the body. I know where there are doors and front
fenders and I know of a couple of Sedan Body's that are in much better
condition than yours as to other members of these group sites, if your
interested.

Re: A real fourm
Hello 600 People, I usually don't post but lurk a lot and hopefully learn something about the Honda 600.
I also belong to the Impala SS forum in the wagon section for us who own Caprice or Roadmaster big station wagons. You can see it here if you wish Impala SS Forum
The "wagon" section is the most active on the site.
It's a broken up into sections for different topics and it's all archived so you can go back and read on different topics anytime.
I don't think there might be enough 600 people to start one of these type forums but it sure would be great to do so.
The only problem is that most of the people that post quite often are friends of the previous poster and you get a lot of snide little jokes or quips back and forth that mean nothing to everybody else.
But if you looking for past information on a certain topic like "rear disc brake conversion" for example and talk to others who have done it already, it's great!
I hope to own a 600 someday.
Happy 600ing, Barry
