I will be going to get a new breather hose (hose that connects
cylinder head to air intake box) today and am wondering if anyone
knows the size off hand. It would make it much easier to just ask the
guy at Napa for a certain size hose instead of guessing.
Second, question:
my front tire went flat recently just sitting there. I'm not sure why
it happened, but it did. I tried to put air into my three spares and
none of them hold air. Go figure.
So I think this is the perfect time to get new tires, or even new rims
if the price is right. I would prefer to get my stock wheels fixed up
but am unsure what the price would be. Does anyone know what the
price is to get the rims to looks brand new? Do they need to be
rechromed? Assume my tires have average wear, a little rust, etc.
What tires fit these and where can I get them? Is the size 165x45R10?
Question about breather hose and wires/wheels
Re: Question about breather hose and wires/wheels
Hi Mtimion;
Best way to fix your rims is to have them sand blasted clean and powder
coated. The powder coating will protect the rims and give a very good
sealing surface for the tires.
Tires can be purchased from a number of shops that sell Kumho tires. I
have gone on line with www.tirerack.com and web site does not show the tire
size, but they sell them. Also, you can call Hernandez Tire Co.
XXX-XXX-XXXX here in San Diego and they will ship them to you tomorrow.
