I have new oil pump rods in the works. I have the prototype in hand
and am getting the pistons made also, it will be a kit of the 3
pieces: rod, piston and matching pin. These are aluminum, not steel
like the ones I made 6 years ago.
The material for the rod is 6061 aluminum with hard annodize coating.
Pistons will be steel like the original and a hardened pin. If anyone
doesn't think the aluminum rod will hold up with just hard annodize
please let me know, but the machinists say it will without inserting
a bearing.
Cost will be aprox $75.00 ea. set/3.
