I am happy to report that after step "A", my Coupe's parking lights are
working just fine. All it took to stop their fuse from blowing literally
immediately was to clean the contacts on the fusebox. Needless to say after
that success I went through the fusebox and did them all, replacing fuses
that looked worn.

Hi. Has anyone tried to replace the old glass fuses and fuse panel with the newer style plastic fuses? If you want your car to be completely original I would understnd that but If It didnt matter, I think it would be less maintence to solder in new ones. What do you think?     Thanks.James.

a fuse is a fuse, if your stock fuses are blowing you have a problem
that adding modern fuses won't help. If you want to pay a buck a
piece for the plastic ones then go for it.
