This meet is generally for members of Arcane Auto Society of San
Francisco Bay Area - but we really don't discrimate! Honda 600's
welcome. Come see the Honda 600 that was on the cover of AutoPhyle
Magazine 1992 (he usually brings it). - Miles
Christmas in the Mountains
Santa Cruz Mountains, that is. Yep, a whole year has breezed by since
our last visit to the Skegg's Point, so it's time to head back up,
elbow the bicyclists out of `our' parking places and set up an Arcane
Christmas Brunch.
So folks, head up to Skyline Blvd. over looking Woodside and San
Francisco Bay and make your way to the Skegg's Point Overlook.
Skagg's Point is located on the San Francisco Peninsula on the east
side of Skyline Blvd. (Highway 35) about 4 to 5 miles north of the
Highway 84 intersection (Alice's Restaurant) or about 9 miles south
of the Highway 92 intersection. As usual, bring along your favorite
dish or stew (hopefully something nice and warm to take the chill out
of our aging bones) to share with the assembled cold and hungry
throng. Let's meet at 10 a.m. Saturday December 14. Don't forget to
bring that strange little beast that lives in the garage. Oh, and
bring your Arcane car, too�
But what if it's raining?
Don't give up � there's a back up plan. The folks at Cameron's
English Pub in Half Moon Bay have agreed to take us in. Cameron's is
a neat half timbered Tudor style traditional English pub where we
brunched indoors for the Christmas Do year before last. Since we
won't have a confirmed reservation, we won't have the separate dining
hall opened for us, but Cameron himself assures me they can
accommodate us inside the main building! Downside is, we can't serve
our own food. So when you wake up Saturday morning, stick your hand
out the window. If it's wet when you bring it back in, leave the food
at home and head directly for the pub. Cameron's English Pub can be
found just south of the main part of the town of Half Moon Bay at
1410 S. Cabrillo Hwy. (Hwy 1) at Wavecrest Road. The restaurant opens
at 11 a.m., so be there then.

Arcane Auto Soc. has cancelled the upcoming meet this Saturday Dec.
14 due to forcasted bad weather. It will now be held at a private
residence Dec. 21 in Menlo Park Ca. If you would like to attend,
please email me and I will get you directions.
