Hey joe,exactly what wires were giving you trouble? Are we talking
about a honda with a integral starter/generator or an N-600 set-up
with separate starter and alternator?

The wire that had the bad end was one from the starter/generator. It
was missing a proper terminal end and a raw wire was just shoved in
the female end.
