Vacuum assist brake unit

Post by Stephen Garth Sorensen »

Does anyone rebuild the vacuum assist brake unit? I had one rebuilt here in Southern California but it is faulty again. It appears that one or both of the diaphragms are damaged and leak brake fluid into the carburetor creating huge clouds of blue smoke. Or does anyone know where replacement diaphragms might be found?
I am located in the greater Los Angeles area of Southern California.

Thanks,Garth

Here's what's inside your coupe & one type sedan booster. Bill Colford alerted me I forgot to show the actuator pin that goes into end of piston.   https://www.facebook.com/pg/600guru/photos/?tab=album&album_id=10152180897243347   Miles
