Re: roof strip

I use the door chrome strips for the door edge guards.  Cut them along the rounded edge and remove the glue and just push them in.  Look for the ones designated for trucks, they seem to be wider.   Bill       -----Original Message----- From: anzhonda600owners@yahoogroups.com [mailto:anzhonda600owne...

Re: where are the tires made?

Looking at the latest tire sales in Hemmings Motor News, there are 2" wide white walls 480-10 made by BF Goodrich tires for $133.00 each and they need tubes.  Vredestein has the 145R-10 Sprint Classic for $87.00 and it is a black wall.  While Dunlop has a 145SR10 for $165.00 and a 165/70SR...

Re: [2cylinderhondas] steering wheel

Loren K. and Eric;       JC Whitney is a good source for the window weather stripping.  Although the last catalog I received from them was all screwed up as far as the numbers are concerned.  I talked to them at length and even sent scans of old catalogs showing that there were numbers for the stri...

Re: Part availability, Shocks and Struts for a 1972 Honda Z600

Hi John;       Yes, all brake linings can be rebuilt.   The problem early on was that there was no good mastic that would hold up so many linings were riveted on.  I ask the shop doing the work to attach the lining for both Pads and Shoes to use a brass rivet to hold them in place along with the gl...

Re: Part availability, Shocks and Struts for a 1972 Honda Z600

Take your old pads to a local brake repair shop.  They normally have information on who will rebuild them for you.  But don't let them try and say another type of pad will fit.  They won't.  If you can't get them done, there is a shop here in San Diego (National Brake) that will do them.    Bill   ...

No there are no replacement struts, they must be manufactured.  Or pulled apart and new seals put in them.    These are for the rear shocks. Go here they are advertised for $27.40 each. http://www.amazon.com/KYB-343143-GR-2-Shock/dp/B000C42R2I   -----Original Message----- From: anzhonda600owners@ya...
