hay bill cant u make a accelerator pump for this guy ? and whats wrong with the site that has one it will not work I will need a hole carb rebuild kit and going to buy the kit they show if it don't work I will just send it back but this care will not run with out that pump I know I did try it. IT dies every time u hit the gas at a stop light its a real pain with out the accelerator pump I had a old Honda 600 bike that had a pump on it it would not run at all with out it just keep die ing yes its is on there for a reason it helps on start offs from dead stops and for passing if u stomp it with out it will die

Bill is correct here. The need for an accelerator pump is related to how fast the throttle is opened. When the throttle opens rapidly the air flows faster than the fuel. This causes a lean condition and a cough. Motorcycles don't need an accelerator pump since their throttles are leveraged differently. They open more slowly than car thottles. You could get away with it if you never rapidly mash the throttle.
On another note. The air cut off diaphragms are not made from a material that holds up to fuel. It takes a very good material to resist destruction from todays fuel.
