Accelerator Pumps

Let us know how that whole sending it back thing goes.  LOL. Some people have had to file claims with PayPal and disputes just to get their money returned for parts they never received to begin with after the seller has gone AWOL.

Bill is correct here. The need for an accelerator pump is related to how fast the throttle is opened. When the throttle opens rapidly the air flows faster than the fuel. This causes a lean condition and a cough. Motorcycles don't need an accelerator pump since their throttles are leveraged differently. They open more slowly than car thottles. You could get away with it if you never rapidly mash the throttle.
On another note. The air cut off diaphragms are not made from a material that holds up to fuel. It takes a very good material to resist destruction from todays fuel.

OK did not know that  thanks so were do u get a carb repair kit at ?  now I had some Goldwing  carb repair kits that I had used  just did not have the pump  but they have been all used  so no more   there not all the same but it works the base is not the same u have to cut it some to fit
