Looking for a solution so I can finally complete my restoration. What do DIY Honda 600 restorer's use for weather stripping on windows and doors. Also what is the best replacement for the outside chrome trim ? I'm thinking just some generic trim that matches the original size, but I'd like to know if there are better alternatives. Any advice ?
Thanks, Gail in California

There is no chrome side body trim on a 600 coupe. Which trim are you matching?

Hi Miles, I'm probably just not using the right words. I'm looking for the rubber around the windows & doors, mine was all rotted/melted. And the sliver trim around the windows.
I have my old rubber & trim for the parking lights, but I'd replace that if I could. My Honda had a strip of trim on each side of the roof, that is standard.
It also had a "black top" paint job that included a strip of trim separating the black from the orange paint, it goes under the emblem, making it almost look like it's a convertible. I was told there was a popular sport paint mod that had that black paint detail.
Can you tell me the proper names of what I'm looking for, and a source ?
Thanks a bunch!

For the doors I used door weather stripping for a 1994 Chry. concord cut to length.

Would the door weatherstrip you used on your coupe be suitable for a sedan?
If so, could you send me the photos as well?
